精东传媒 has announced its Academic Honors List for the fall semester of the 2013-2014 academic year.

A student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.75 (on a 4.00 scale) for 12 or more hours of coursework to qualify for the list.

精东传媒鈥檚 next Elder Gallery exhibit highlights the work of three multi-media artists whose work focuses on common objects.

When Professor Meghan Winchell鈥檚 African American History class switched from three credit hours to four, she didn鈥檛 add more reading assignments.

鈥淚t created an opportunity to incorporate a service learning project into my class,鈥� said Winchell. 鈥淚 wanted to go to four credits for this purpose.鈥�

The artistic talents of high school students will be showcased at Nebraska Wesleyan鈥檚 fifth annual juried art exhibition 鈥淏ridge.鈥�

Nebraska Wesleyan鈥檚 Department of Art will host Bridge January 21-February 2. High school seniors were invited to submit artwork to be considered for the exhibition. Forty-three students were selected for the exhibit.

It鈥檚 hard to believe the fall semester is nearly done.  It seems like just yesterday when you moved your student to campus.  Now, the winds of winter are upon us and your child is returning home.

Your student鈥檚 return home can be a great time to catch up and enjoy the holidays together. However, it may also be a time of adjustment for both families and students.

A group of 精东传媒 students will start the new year serving those who are starting a new life.

Twelve members of the student organization, Global Service Learning (GSL), along with two 精东传媒 staff will travel to Tucson, Arizona, for eight days 鈥� January 5-12 鈥� where they will help refugees integrate into their new communities.
