The country鈥檚 oldest local sorority is celebrating a milestone.

On April 26-27, current and former Willard Sorority members will celebrate the Greek organization鈥檚 125th anniversary, just one year after 精东传媒 celebrated the same milestone.

Nancy Newman, director of Student Health Services, has been named one of the state's "best nurses."

At the April 14 campus staff meeting, representatives from the Lincoln Journal Star stopped by and surprised Newman with an announcement that she was named one of the best in the newspaper's annual "Best Nurses in Nebraska" contest. 

精东传媒 will screen the documentary "Komora: To Heal." The film follows orphan survivors of the 1994 Tutsi genocide in Rwanda and the people who stepped in to raise them.

The documentary screening will be held Wednesday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. in Callen Conference Center.

Four 精东传媒 students with a passion for activism were in Arizona March 21-23 attending the Seventh Annual Clinton Global Initiative University (CGIU).

Seniors Rebecca Brune and Jessica Adkisson, both of Lincoln, Alex Langley of Tekamah, and junior Bailey Wood, also of Lincoln were among 1,000 college students in the country selected for the conference.
