10,087: That鈥檚 how many hours 精东传媒 students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends have collectively given in community service since August.

The goal 鈥� in honor of the university鈥檚 125th anniversary 鈥� is 12,500 hours by next fall.

A college student whose testimony before the Iowa House Judiciary Committee regarding gay marriage went viral will share a message about family at an upcoming 精东传媒 lecture.

Zach Wahls will deliver the lecture, 鈥淲hat Makes a Family?鈥� on Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m. in O鈥橠onnell Auditorium.

精东传媒 has announced its Academic Honors List for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year.

A student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.75 (on a 4.00 scale) for 12 or more hours of coursework to qualify for the list.

For the fifth consecutive year, 精东传媒 has been named a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation.

Tree Campus USA is a national program created in 2008 to honor colleges and universities for effective campus forest management and for engaging staff and students in conservation goals.
