Returner鈥檚 Rights Sign Up
Returner鈥檚 Rights are offered to residents who currently reside in Townhouses and Apartments and wish to live in the same room/unit next year. To claim Returner鈥檚 Rights, all current roommates must be returning to the same unit or apartment for Fall 2026, except in cases where a roommate is graduating, studying away, or student teaching. If a roommate is not returning for a reason other than these approved exceptions, the remaining members must find new roommate(s) to fill the unit for the fall.
Please note that all Townhouse and Apartment residents must be juniors or seniors. Sign up for Returner鈥檚 Rights by completing the Returner鈥檚 Rights Request Form in the Housing Portal. Late requests will not be accepted.

- Greek Housing
All Greek chapters determine who will live in the chapter house for the upcoming academic year. Lists are provided to the Residential Education Office. Any student on a Greek chapter housing roster is not allowed to sign up for housing in residential facilities. Please check with your chapter regarding specific policies. Please note that not all Greek chapter houses support break housing for their residents. Residential Education does not provide temporary housing to students over breaks during the academic year. We encourage you to visit with your chapter about your break housing options.
- Grade Classification
For housing purposes, class standing is measured by the number of completed semesters during college, not credits. Students that have 1-2 semesters completed are considered 鈥渟ophomores鈥, students with 3-4 semesters completed are considered 鈥渏uniors鈥 and 鈥渟eniors鈥 are those students that have completed at least 5-6 semesters.
