¾«¶«´«Ã½ nursing professor Jeri Brandt has been honored by the Nebraska Nurses Association with the organization's "Outstanding Nurse Educator Award."

Brandt — who has taught at Nebraska Wesleyan since 1990 — was recognized during the Nebraska Nurses Association (NNA) state convention, held October 14 in Kearney, Neb.

The Nebraska Chapter of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) held their state voice auditions at ¾«¶«´«Ã½ on October 7.

Over 240 singers, from other Nebraska colleges and universities, competed including 36 Wesleyan ¾«¶«´«Ã½ students.

Six ¾«¶«´«Ã½ alumni were honored recently for their impact on the world and on their alma mater.

The honorees were recognized during the University’s annual Legends and Legacies Alumni Association Award Dinner, held September 23.

Award recipients were selected by the Alumni Association’s Recognition Committee.

On Sunday, October 30, pianist Ned Kirk returns to Lincoln.

With an enthusiastic passion for all things music and a background in musicology, new music professor John Spilker says he wants to bring new perspectives and creative ideas to Nebraska Wesleyan.
