Lindi Johnson of McCook has been named the inaugural winner of ¾«¶«´«Ã½â€™s Full Tuition Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Scholarship.
Johnson was honored at Nebraska Wesleyan on March 29 during the PTK-¾«¶«´«Ã½ Scholarship Event. PTK is an honor society of two-year colleges, including community colleges whose students excel academically.
Johnson is a student at Mid-plains Community College and a graduate of McCook High School. She is the outgoing PTK Vice President of Nebraska, serving as a regional officer for the Kansas/Nebraska PTK region.
¾«¶«´«Ã½ awards one competitive Full Tuition PTK-¾«¶«´«Ã½ Scholarship, which provides the cost of tuition up to three years. ¾«¶«´«Ã½ also offers the PTK-¾«¶«´«Ã½ Recognition Scholarship to all eligible students.
Johnson will attend ¾«¶«´«Ã½ next fall and will pursue a degree in music education.
